- If possible, pay at least one visit to Dubai, before moving to get a feel for the city and the various residential locations.
- If moving with a family, renting or buying near a school makes sense. School buses in Dubai run from the main residential areas and car pools are encouraged.
- If you are considering buying a property in Dubai there are several reputable mortgage advisors, home finance providers and high street banks ready to advise you on your borrowing capabilities.
- Many employers provide accommodation or a housing allowance towards the cost of your accommodation. It is worth pushing for a generous allowance as this will definitely be your biggest outgoing.
- You will need your residency visa to sign a tenancy lease.
