Nurseries & Pre-School
Dubai’s has an increasing choice of nurseries, mostly located near the main residential areas – The Marina, Emirates Hills, Jumeirah, Umm Sequim, and Mirdiff.
Nurseries offer good facilities to aid the development of your child - physically, psychologically and academically. They are well staffed, with a high teacher /child ratio.
Acceptance age varies from one nursery to another, it is advisable to check with the individual nursery. Many accepting infants from 3 months old to facilitate the working parents and in the absence of a 'childminder' option in Dubai this proves very popular.
Some larger Primary schools offer a pre school course . Kids are generally accepted from the age of 3 years onto this programme.
Nurseries are mainly English speaking, however some nurseries incorporate a second European language into their programme.
A nurse will be on site to help with any medical queries and any minor incidences that may occur.
Many Nurseries, such as TLC in Media City, Meadows Village Nursery offer a special programme of ‘holiday activities’ to support working parents.
