  • Rug Retailers from other Emirates regularly visit residential locations in Dubai, ask your neighbours or friends before you go out to buy.
  • Recommendations are always good and don't forget to bargain.
  • Fabrics may become faded by the sun so perhaps consider mid priced fabrics that can be replaced every few years and represent better value.
  • Consider V-cool/ 3M, which is a sun filter lining for windows and helps reduce sun damage to soft furnishings and also reduce air-conditioning costs. Initially expensive to install but is money saved in the long term.
  • Consider a contract with a pest control company in Dubai to protect both your interior and exterior against mosquitoes, cockroaches, ants etc.
