All the well known designer brand of textiles are available in Dubai, Osborne & Little, Designer Guild , Churchill etc and are comparable in price to your own country, however because of Dubai's geographical location there are many beautiful fabric options available from India, Pakistan, China etc, these are generally less expensive and are generally of good quality. There are several reputable soft furnishing outlets that will gladly assist you in making your choice.
Flooring tends to be cool marble or ceramic tiles, there are lots of options in this area, carpet is a not a recommended option as it tends to retain heat, so instead people introduce rugs to add character and warmth to their homes. Wooden floors are popular but make sure they are well fitted as they need to withstand the heat variables.
