  • If you suffer from a a pre-existing medical condition that will require continual monitoring and follow up in Dubai - it is imperative that you bring a copy of your medical records along with a cover note from your referring Clinical / specialist.
  • Many prescription medications in other countries are readily available over the counter in Dubai, as always be sensible and exercise caution when self medicating.
  • When moving from overseas do not allow your medical insurance to lapse. If changing providers ensure continuity between fall off of one and commencement of the new policy you simply cannot be without health insurance.
  • There is zero tolerance of illegal drug use in the UAE, be aware of banned drugs and always carry any prescriptions in your hand luggage so it is easily found  if requested.
